No. 20 – Sadie Aucott – Cheetah’s Eye

£60

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY:

Sadie lives in Devon and works full-time as an Office Manager and an emerging wire artist. Over a period of time, Sadie developed a system of working with fine gauge florists binding wire in order to create images which combine a life-long passion for art and animals. She uses black/grey binding wire and each completed piece is finally mounted on a bare white canvas. Sadie attempts to interpret reference images and create a piece of wire art which makes an emotional connection between the viewer and the subject and encourages the viewer to see ‘a living being’, ‘a friend’ and to ‘feel their soul’.

#SKETCHFORWILDLIFE:

Each year, the talented artists who take part in DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year are invited to participate in #SketchForWildlife.

By painting or drawing a small image on a postcard it gives visitors to the online exhibition a chance to own a totally unique piece of work, by a highly sought after collection of artists.

The postcards have always been extremely popular and we hope you will support this initiative which allows more people to own a unique piece of original art, albeit on a slightly smaller scale. The subject and medium of the postcard was entirely up to the artist, with the subject matter being their own celebration of the natural world.

100% of the proceeds from this sale will support the charitable work of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) and our ground-based conservation partners across Africa and Asia.
