Fred Gordon – The Final Sentinel

£45,000

ARTWORK DESCRIPTION:

When creating his piece “The Final Sentinel” Fred Gordon was inspired by the deforestation of the Bornean rainforest. This piece symbolises the only tree left standing; a solitary orangutan, the Man of the Forest, looking down, his sanctuary razed to the ground. The sculpture is stabilised by fallen branches, a symbol of the destruction of the primate’s habitat.  Edition Size: 6  Available for Sale: 5
