Derek Robertson – What We Carry With Us – Albatross

£9,950

ARTWORK DESCRIPTION:

Derek Robertson has been a professional wildlife artist for over 35 years. His watercolour “What We Carry With Us – Albatross” is a weaving of topics around plastics, chemical pollution and over-fishing. The great albatrosses that travel the furthest reaches of the ocean carry plastics and chemicals that are our casually discarded legacy to the biosphere. This huge watercolour is part of Derek’s major project ‘Testaments of Loss’ depicting incidents of environmental loss.
