Description

About the piece:
Amber Tyldesley is a 26 year old professional artist from Warrington. Her high-impact pieces feature a striking level of detail and show a particular interest in the interplay between light and dark. She works primarily with acrylics, incorporating high-gloss resin into her work to achieve a heightened contrast and a distinctive contemporary finish. ‘A Rare Beauty’ is a portrait of an endangered okapi male. Also known as a ‘forest giraffe’, okapis are native to the Democratic Republic of Congo

At least 50% of the proceeds from this sale will support the charitable work of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) and our ground-based conservation partners across Africa and Asia.
