Alex is a creator of realistic art, only ever subtly and rarely altering the odd thing in an artistic rendition. The real and natural world is immensely interesting to him and therefore it is his desire to depict it as near to reality as he can. He sees nature as covering a gamut of size, colour, personality and beauty, all of which he believes should be worthy of everyone’s attention. Thanks to Alex, 50% of the net profits from the sale of this artwork will support DSWF’s work protecting endangered species across Africa and Asia. As quoted by Alex:
“The natural world is constantly changing, largely for the worse, which is why I donate a portion of all my wildlife sales to animal charities. The DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year competition is an immensely exciting few weeks for any shortlisted wildlife artist, so I’m delighted , and quite flattered, to be involved in any additional capacity outside this capacity.”
