Wildlife Ball 2022: Silent auction

We look forward to welcoming you to the prestigious DSWF Wildlife Ball this Friday. If you’re not able to attend in person, you can still help the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation protect endangered wildlife through the Silent Auction. Bidding closed on Friday 11th March 2022 at 22:50pm. All successful winners will be notified by email and/or text.

Auction highlights

The silent auction has some incredible bids with highlights including:

Paintings by three generations of the Shepherd family featuring a beautiful an rare iconic oil painting original by DSWF Founder David Shepherd, a sensitive painting by Mandy Shepherd that depicts movement and grace and a much sought after original by DSWF Art Patron Emily Lamb inspired by the natural world.

From Internationally acclaimed wildlife photographer, and DSWF photographic partner, William Fortescue we have a beautiful fine art photograph capturing Elephants in Amboseli. Will is driven by driven by his passionate desire to depict wild animals in their natural environment, undisturbed by human interference.

One of the experiences on offer is a 3 night stay in the heart of the African savannah at Kuzuko Lodge, South Africa for two adults. Known as the “Place of Glory”, the lodge is built high upon a hill in a private section of the northern part of the Greater Addo Area. It is here where breath-taking views from your private veranda are complemented by luxurious chalets and warm, attentive service.

Place a bid or donate

To view all available items in the auction, head to the DSWF silent auction website. Click on Silent Auction Items if you want to make a bid, scroll through the list and tap on the item you want to bid on. At the bottom of the page beneath the photo and description it will show you the current winning bid and the next minimum bid you need to make. Enter your bid amount into the field at the bottom of the page and click Place Bid – if you are not registered you will need to register your details. Credit card information is required before placing your first bid. All successful winners will be notified by email and/or text.

You can also make a donation by clicking Make a Donation. Just choose your preferred level (£20, £50 or any amount), enter your desired amount into the field at the bottom of the page and click Donate Now. As with bidding you will need to be registered on the system.
